The History of Thanksgiving

A day late but very informative.

Witches Of The Craft®

Thanksgiving Turkey

Thanksgiving Day, annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Americans generally believe that their Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims) of Plymouth and the Wampanoag people. The American holiday is particularly rich in legend and symbolism, and the traditional fare of the Thanksgiving meal typically includes turkey, bread stuffing, potatoes, cranberries, and pumpkin pie. With respect to vehicular travel, the holiday is often the busiest of the year, as family members gather with one another.

Daily OM for November 19: Life Is An Illusion

Yes, I know this is a few days later but I still wanted to share it with you

Many gurus and philosophers agree with this mysterious observation, saying that this world we perceive as real is actually an illusion, not unlike a film being projected on a screen. Most of us are so involved in the projection that we don’t understand it for what it is. We are completely caught up in the illusion, imagining that…

Lady Beltane’s recovery and New Posts on Website

Lady Beltane is home and resting after her knee surgery. The surgeon did a great job on her left knee.

Lady Beltane managed to get some posts scheduled for these days but please do not expect them every day this week and possibly the beginning of next week. She is kind of loopy from pain pills and a herbal tea mixed of her own.

Any candles, or prayers or healing energy for Lady Beltane would be very welcomed and appreciated. Thank you to those that have done either one or all three things asked for.

Blessed be dear ones
