Now on to the drumming information from Chief Golden Light Eagle via White Wolf…
“Whiteman uses drums in their dances — rock and roll, country and western and all sorts of other music categories — the sound of drums move people in many different way. So yes the heartbeat is what everyone depends on to stay alive – the drum helps us to remember our own heart – beat, our own breath and our life.

Many people would be shocked to learn that sometimes their entire load of curbside recycling is thrown straight into a landfill.
While recycling programs vary in different areas, most curbside programs follow a similar system; the recycling is picked up and taken to a sorting facility where materials are separated, then those materials are sold to various companies that make products out of recycled materials.
When people place non-recyclable items into their recycling bins, it keeps this system from being as efficient as it can be. Non-recyclable items can contaminate other recyclables, slow down the process and even damage machines. In order to keep the system running efficiently, sorting facilities may deem entire bins of recycling as trash if there are non-recyclables in with them.
This means that all of the plastic, glass and paper you assumed was going to be used to make recycled products is really just sitting in a landfill, releasing toxic chemicals into the ecosystem and finding its way into the digestive systems of birds and other wildlife.
In order to make it easier to avoid this, we’ve put together a list of 11 items you should never recycle.
If an illustration of a dubious event counts as fiction, then this late 1500s sketch could be the first reference to familiars:
The author is unknown, but there is a description here:
An image of a witch and her familiar spirits taken from a publication that dealt with the witch trials of Elizabeth Stile, Mother Dutten, Mother Devell and Mother Margaret in Windsor, 1579.
Whether the term “familiar” would have been used by the author at the time is unclear. However, the sketch was made some time after 1579 and in 1584 we find what is likely the first appearance of the term “familiars” in this context within the English corpus. This appears in the book Scot’s Discovery of Witchcraft, edited by Reginald Scot. (This could be earlier than Malleus Maleficarum.)
The term appears in the very long subtitle of the book:
Proving the Common Opinions of Witches Contracting with Divels, Spirits, Or Familiars, and Their Power to Kill, Torment, and Consume the Bodies of Men, Women, and Children, Or Other Creatures by Diseases Or Otherwise, Their Flying in the Air…
